Audio for Dummies 103: I have always "crimped on" spade lugs. I don't owner a solder gun and would probably melt 3' of wire before i got it right anyway. Can you use liquid solder or is that worse than crimp?

BTW, I'm actually using bare wire while i'm demoing the M22's.

IMO, crimping, when done correctly, is in every sense as good as skillfully-done soldering.

I myself is lazy enough never to actually terminate my speaker wires. My current (permanent) installation is all bare-wire.

Yes, Peter, you just strip it, stick it through the hole and get it good and tight.

Ive never heard of liquid solder. Soldering really isint hard, if you just know the technique and practice a bit.
