My Den

Just got the new TV, a Samsung HL61A750. Finally, video quality on par with Axiom sound quality.

Looks like you have some nice gear there - the led Samsungs are awesome - looks like you have some Rotel gear there as well - great stuff

Nope, no Rotel. I wish though!

The amp on top of the stand is an Emotiva LPA-1. Going down from there you have my Pioneer Elite AVR, then a Denon DVD-1920 DVD/CD/SACD player, then my DishNetwork 722, then on the bottom is the Belkin PF60 line conditioner/surge protector.

That room looks very relaxing. Nice setup!

A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing.

How far do you sit from the tv? Have you had any problems with the Samsung? I'm looking at the 67 inch LED set.

I love the dark blue color on the walls. I'm sure they disappear completely when you watch in the dark.

I've only had the set for about a month now. So far, no problems what-so-ever. It's my first HDTV, so it's hard to compare directly with others. But my wife and I both absolutely love it and can't believe we waited so long to jump into the HD era. I've been literally shopping for HDTV's for years, comparing and contrasting sets at stores and friend's homes. This set finally hit the mark for me in terms of price, size, and performance. I am really happy with the purchase and would do it again.

Our eyeballs are about 10 feet away from the TV screen. No issues at all with that. HD content looks gorgeous, and even SD stuff is certainly watchable. The front edge of the couch is just out of frame to the right, behind the coffee table. If I were to put my feet up on the table, in the brief moment before my wife would yell at me, you'd be able to see them in the photo.

Nice setup.

I especially like the glowing nuclear power plant stacks.

Seriously though. Very nice.
