I am a current m60 owner. I will be completing my dedicated HT with 23'x17'x10 dimensions. I would like to put up a false/screen wall 2' from the front wall. This screen wall with be covered with acoustically transparent (GOM) fabric.
Anyone see any issues with the M80 and VP150 behind this wall?
I may need to place the m80s about 15" from the side wall. Would that be okay?
Thanks!

Nothing is totally acoustically transparent, even speaker covers reduce the output but a 1/2 dB or so, your ears won't be able to tell.
Will you be able access the speakers easily and adjust for toe-in or proper placement? You do not want the distance from the side walls to be the same as the front wall behind the speaker. For ex, you would not want the driver to be 24" from the side wall AND 24" from the wall behind the speaker.
To me I don't understand why people would want to hide nice looking speakers. Maybe you should get the upcoming T-Series m80's which will be flat to the wall.
