I'm so far behind in new technology, I just got an e-mail about this today from Logitech Squeezbox Boom
Now if they make one with batteries that I can throw on my shoulder I'm in. \:\)

A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing.

Wow. That is really cool. As if I didn't have enough toys upon which to spend money...

Now if only they can make one with a wireless broadband card so you can access your home media network from the lake... now THAT would be cool.

If you have an iPod Touch or iPhone, you can use the SimplifyMedia application along with the client app on your Mac or PC running iTunes. Then you can stream to your Touch or iPhone.

I have it running on my Mac Mini. I can then stream via EDGE, Wifi or 3G to my iPhone and have access to over 80 GB of music. Granted it won't do the DRM'ed music but all the MP3's work.
