We watched fight club the other night. I haven't watched that movie in probably 7 years. Good flick.
We've been making our way through Arrested Development again as well. That is an excellent show.

I downloaded the first episode of season 3 of dexter, and I am excited for it to really get going.

I just watched all of Arrested Development a few months ago, but I'd watch them all again right now. It really is a great show.

Also, I was just thinking yesterday that they need to put Fight Club on Blu-ray already.

I will have to watch Dexter sometime.

Agreed on fight club for blu ray. Even with my steady diet of netflix'd blu rays Fight club stood up well as a disc. Something I can surprisingly not say about Star Wars Episode 1, which I watched a bit of tonight. Correction, soundwise I'm still very impressed. But the visuals were pretty soft and washed-out-looking. Arrested is like many of the great comedies, infinitely rewatchable, and when you go back to the beginning you realize that they had a lot of the material planned out from the beginning, making it even more genius!

Tonight I watched the "Ballad of Fallen Angels" episode of Cowboy Bebop again. I finished the series, but I had to watch that episode again for the music, and I'll watch "Mushroom Samba" again for how funny and well-designed the events and action are.

Good choices. I get a kick out of any of the episodes that focus more on Fred like Mushroom Samba.

I saw the movie first and also liked it which got me to watch the series which I liked even more. I think the main reason I prefer most series vs. movies is that I watch the series like it’s one long movie. So when I watched things like “Cowboy Bebop” “Ghost in the Shell” “Rome” I try to watch them straight through at one time or over one weekend if they’re to long. You can really get immersed something that way.

Definitely agree on the immersion factor, and I've been very impressed with the story arcs in a lot of anime. It's always much cooler to get to the end of a season or series where they obviously had a big plan from the start, rather than just an idea for a formula that could be serialized.

Tonight it was All the President's Men. It was my first time watching it. I'm thinking I should make it a double-feature and watch Dick again.

One Piece: Season One. First Voyage. I didn't know if I was going to like it when I started watching it, but it's growing on me. There's some funny stuff, and I keep wanting to watch the next episode, which I suppose is good.
