Saw serveral posts Onkyo USA is out of business, well, not accroding to this link, which is a good new to me because I own a 797

Hi Anonymous,
You are correct. I checked into this. Onkyo USA, which builds receivers and other components, is healthy.

Several years ago, Onkyo America, which built OEM car speakers, declared bankruptcy and was sold to Global Technologies.
