The most realistic part of that cartoon was when he tried to remove the cable from the plastic package. I HATE those damned things. \:\)

Pretty funny. The wait for delivery had painfully reminded me of what it was...

I thought it hit home on many points, including the two you guys mentioned.

Peter, I even bought a pair of the Black & Decker power scissors which "claim" to be able to cut through that obnoxious plastic packaging like butter. Actually, they do the job on much of that packaging. But, I've run into a few which, due mostly to shape, even the scissors couldn't defeat. The damned stuff drives me crazy.

It drives everyone crazy, but due to the corporate mentality that everyone's a thief until proven otherwise (see the friendly receipt checkers at your local big box store), don't expect it to go away any time soon.

Huh, I just googled and you can apparently use a can opener on many types of plastic anti-theft packaging. I'll try it next time I need to get one open.

Ha, that was a great cartoon. Thanks, Jack!

Those old Goofy cartoons have always been my favorite. This one captures the same type of feeling. Thumbs up!

Glad you enjoyed it, Sean. It was posted over at AV123 and I enjoyed it so much, I thought (hoped) that maybe a few of you guys would enjoy it as well. As someone who grew up on MM, DD, Goofy, and Disney in general, it was such a joy to see the melding of the '50s and the.............what the heck do you call this decade, the OHs? the Zeros?
