Hello all, I have an issue I hope somebody could help me with. I currenlty have ripped all my cd's to wma files, and now I'm in the process of converting the wma to Apples AAC format. The issue I have is when I import an album folder, and if that album has multiple singers it will create multiple albums for this one album. An example would be The Essential Johnny Cash album, Itunes will creat one folder that has most of the songs in it, but it will create another album for Johnny Cash/June Carter Cash, and another for Johnny Cash/Waylon Jennings. I could see if I viewed by artest it would show this way, but it shows this way also if I choose view by Album.

Thank You
Pat

You're welcome! ;\)
Seriously, glad you find the solution.
That grid view is new in iTunes and more a nuisance than anything else.

Agreed. I only view my tunes in the old-fashioned list mode, usually organized by artist.

I just switched to Mediamonkey and I'll never go back to iTunes, it's just that much better, and also uses less memory which isn't an issue for me anyway but just a heads up.

I would be tempted by Mediamonkey, but I use AirTunes and I doubt there is a plug-in (not in the "office ones" at least) supporting those devices. Too bad!

I'm an AirTunes addict as well Eric... it keeps me tied to iTunes, which admittedly is a complete computing resource hog.
