I'm looking to purchase a Denon Receiver, where can I find one at the best possible price? Preferably a Denon 4308

I would consider teh 3808 since the 4308 has very few extra features for the difference in price. If you go to http://www.6ave.com and give them a call you should find the 3808 for less than $1100 (maybe $1050). 6ave is an authorized reseller of denon.

Race, +1 on that idea. They're a reputable dealer and many of us have purchased directly from them.

I think I read somewhere that 6ave also has a deal on the 4308, wouldn't hurt to ask if you are stuck on the 4308 for its marginally upgraded features.

6th ave as others have mentioned. Make sure you tell them that you want the AVS forum pricing. Also, AVS itself sells Denon gear (that's where I purchased it from)
