Once more i turn to this forum for some wise advise.
With the M80, QS8 & VP 150 on order, what would you suggest for cables? 16 Ga., 14 or 12???????
The distance of the front M80 is about 4-5 feet from the receiver's location( yet to come)?
P.S. for the surrounds I had pre-installed 16 Ga in the wall already.

I use 12 AWG for all my speakers, and to future proof. The gauge you use is dependent on the length of run to the speaker, speaker ohm, etc. http://www.roger-russell.com/wire/wire.htm#wiretableFor your Q's that would be 36ft max with 16AWG. The length adds up fast once you start routing the wire within the walls.

If you have some of the 16ga left over, that'll be fine for the M80s and VP150.
