Isn't Emotiva the company that sells all those little icons used in Internet chatter?

Ditto. Precisely the reason I switched from being a loyal (almost 10 years) Paradigm owner to Axiom.

WOW, paradigm to axiom....any reason besides price?? as paradigm are some of the very best sounding I think, heard the s8??,..just blew me away, better than t he b&w 600 series i felt.

It depends the line from Paradigm. Axioms blow the Monitor series away. The Studio line is more expensive than the comparable Axiom models, too.

It was upgrade time for me. I went through two versions of Monitor 9's through those years, along with a complete 5.1 system. Yes, Paradigm are phenomenal sounding speakers (I still have my Monitor 9 V2's which are hooked up to my computer via my Denon 3801), but when it was time to upgrade, I was going to wheel (can't step \:D ) up to Studio 100s but I preferred the sound of the M80s.

I feel Axiom is on par with Paradigm Studio series.
