I know you are into world music, so here's one (well, two) for you.
Mali to Memphis, various artists, Putumayo World Music This one is a mix of Memphis blues and Mali music
Mali, various artists, Putumayo World Music
Both discs have some really compelling tracks

If you like that music, Corey Harris has a similar disc that came out some time back, it's called 'Mississippi to Mali' ... he's tracing American Blues music back to Africa. I like it. 'Mississippi to Mali'

10,000 are you kidding just since my last post this damm thing ripped 935 more tracks though the tracks being filtered as duplicates was up to 596 and this is just J-Pop with a few pop/rock stars tossed in. As if that isn’t bad enough now I have a couple Evil Geniuses (read Fred and Rick) egging me on. Just an innocent little search for Corey Harris and I find a couple tracks from Mississippi to Mali, liking them I check a track called time and what do I find…only a Reggie cover of Dark Side of the Moon (Dub Side of the Moon). Reggie and Pink Floyd! Sometimes I hate that I work for the government…well only 8 years and 21 days, not that anyone’s counting. No but it doesn’t end there. Can’t find anything under Mali to Memphis so I try Putumayo and I’m deluged with all sorts of fantastic songs from all over the world. The Middle East stuff is incredible. Between Audials and this forum it’s like having ADD and reading Wikipedia. You completely loose track of what you originally went there for as one link after another distracts you. P.S. Thanks this music you recommended is turning out to be really cool.

You can thank my brother, who introduced me to those two discs. Don't worry though, I returned the favour. I showed him your thread on Audials.
