so is this amp Alan is talking about the one we talked about a few months ago, basically a 2 channel version of the 1400-8? Or, is he talking about something more economical for us Axiom folk.

Or, is he talking about something more economical for us Axiom folk. 2 channel version of the 1400 was the last thing I heard about it and about half the price, IIRC, not much of a deal.

I heard if you get really expensive speaker wire with extra snake oil you don't even need an amplifier at all.
The really expensive stuff actually has a negative resistance which acts as its own amp... at least that is what I read online.
