Of course, the best scene in Quantum of Solace is the one where the FBI is keeping an eye on Mr. Bond:

Then, 007, using his mad skillz, knows that something is afoot:

Bears, beets, Battlestar Galactica.

I had a coworker and her family over to watch The Dark Knight tonight. Her son is a big Batman fan, so he was excited to see it on my system. He of course had seen it in the theater. He was telling his girlfriend how it's always fun to watch movies on my system. My coworker's husband was pretty impressed. It had been a while since they had been over for a movie. I didn't have my QS8s or EP600 back then, I don't think, and they had never seen a high-definition movie on my system, so they weren't really aware of its full potential. My coworker said they would definitely have to come back again for another movie. Now what can I make them watch?

Oh, yeah, and we ordered Chinese food. The fortunes were all lame. Mine said, "The future will bring romance." Stupid fortune cookies always mock me.

That's because Nelson Muntz wrote them. He just didn't print the "HA ha!"

We watched a Bug's Life on DVD, played in the HD-DVD player, and then after Nolan went to bed, watched Hancock on Blu-ray. NoChinese food, but now you've given me a hankerin'...

Watched Horton Hears a Who on BR yesterday. The opening scenes in the water were fantastic. I have admit that the first part of the movie was pretty funny, I was laughing pretty loud w/ the kids. Worth a Netflix rental.

Watched Black Book (or Zwartboek in it's native Dutch) last night. Pretty good WWII flick, but with English subtitles as most of the dialog is in Dutch. Visually attractive, decent sound, and some excellent performances. Rated R for some strong violence, graphic nudity (full frontal male, surprisingly), sexuality and language.

Interestingly, the star, Carice van Houten (who I thought was terrific), and a supporting actress Halina Reijn (equally good) are both in Tom Cruise's latest, Valkyrie.

Jack, I'll have to add that to my Netflix queue. My stupid work internet is blocking the IMDB link. Grr.

Speaking of work, I should probably get back to it. . .

See if Yahoo Movies is blocked. As always, beware of spoilers.
