I should add Cat Stevens, Tea for the Tillerman to my list.
I do have that (on vinyl converted to FLAC), but it didn't quite make the list

Most people think of Tubullar Bells re Mike Oldfield, but I have to say that I preferred Ommadawn a little more. Omadawn has some great parts, but to me it drags a bit.

I'm sorry, but Van Halen is the very definition of recyclable pop. Yes, I own two albums. Yes, it's kinda fun. But it's hard rock bubblegum. Bill and Ted (who had the Excellent Adventure) liked them, which may support your view
