I know that Axiom subwoofers have their own built in amp, right?
With that in mind, can one hook up some smaller speakers from the subs. In other words, does a Axiom sub have jacks for the purpose of powering other speakers?

Nope. I don't know of any subwoofers that power additional speakers (other than ones that power slaved subwoofers).

How about multimedia (computer) speakers? For a while, I was using a Cambridge multimedia subsat system and a portable disk player as a bedroom system. It sounded pretty darn good, was *tiny* and a good value.
