I called 6Ave last week and the price to AVS members was $1,069. Per The Denon site, the $100 Feature Pack is available free or with mail in rebate (some discussion on this) until March 31, 09. If you have heard this price has gone up, please let me know as I want to order one, but want to wait about two weeks, so it will arrive just before all my new Axiom speakers. But if it's going up in price $100 soon, I'll act now.

I'll pop over to the 3808 thread in AVS to see if they know of any $100 bump in the 3808's price.

Have you considered a Denon refurbished model with full warranty from Dakmark for $979? I guess if you can get a brand new one for not much more though, hmmmm.

FWIW, You can get a brand new 876 from Amazon for $999, free shipping if you want to wait a week.

I was feeling a little Verunca and paid an extra $3.99 to have it next-day-aired. I knew I'd find a way to make that Amazon Prime account pay off. I don't even want to know what it costs to UPS Next-Day-Air a 64 pound box.

that is great Peter, I'm anxious to hear your input on the Onkyo with the 80's. Not to mention Audyssey.
