We've got a BigWill and a BigJohn...

Now, for the Axiom forums Ultimate Fighting Challenge...

I guess they could match me and kcarlile up together as a popcorn match - "watch two tall scrawny Irish guys try not to get snapped in half like a brittle twig".

That'd work, but I'm not Irish. Swedish/Scottish/European mutt. I'd also wager that I'd be the one snapped in half.

I guess I'd better post a picture sometime...

Whenever I tell someone who has raised kids that I couldn't ask for a better son, without fail they all say "Wait until he's older!"

Yeah, well, right now he thinks you know everything. He'll reach a point where, for the first time, he'll catch you in a mistake, or an untruth (for me it was when my father told me a stop sign had six sides, and hollered me down when I said it was eight).

From that point on, until he's in his twenties, he'll figure you don't know anything and everything you say is fulla crap (this is the challenging time). At the aforementioned point in his twenties, he'll suddenly be amazed at how much you've learned in just a few years , and hopefully, things will smooth out a little.

I forget who said that? Was it Hemingway?

I don't know if I ever knew who said it originally. I've heard it paraphrased a bunch of different ways, but most commonly, something like: "When I was 18 I couldn't believe how stupid my father was. When I was 22, I was amazed at how much he'd learned in just 4 years." I love wit based truth.

OK all you new folks (and those older chicken s**ts)! Time to put your mouth (and the rest of your visage) where your money went.

Post them PICS! Scroll through this thread and you'll find some of the idiots you've been listening to all this time.
