I have ordered M60's and am not sure whether to match them up with QS-4's or 8's. I don't need extra volume, and, as I am planning to use a 6.1 system, can get 3 QS-4's for the price of two QS-8's. In terms of overall sound quality and matching with the M60's, am I better off buying 2 QS-8's now and adding another one later, or would it be smarter getting the QS-4's instead? Any advice would be appreciated.

it very much depends on the size of your room. If you have a very large room, you'd want the extra volume of the QS - 8's so any rear sound effects don't sound hollow and far away. In a mid sized room, the QS - 4's would be very good. If you want to listen real loud, however, then you should get the QS - 8's.
I have heard putting center channel speakers in the back also sounds good. Maybe for the center rear speaker, you could put a vp150
