I think his subs are just part of the set of rules which govern the philosophy that one can never have too much bass.

To each his own but his room looks way too overdone with treatments. It looks like a padded room in an asylum. I couldn't bear to sit in it for long unless maybe I was watching One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
