Hello People,
I live in India. I have been a avid reader of mails on this wonderful board. Has anyone done any comparison among above mentioned speakers.
My dilemma is , after custom duty and freight m22 is gonna cost me more than $800. On the other hand def tech are $500 while mission are much much less.

I believe there is someone else on the board that has Axiom that lives in India as well (no idea how far from you though). Might be able to listen first if you aren't too far away.

Good catch, Zarak. Our friend aquashankar is in Hyderabad, India.

ajita, why don't you cook up a business trip to the US or Canada?

You are right aquashanker owns M3tis , which he loves, but he happens to live 1000 miles south, maybe a trip down south !!. I had a chance to listen to Def Tech studio monitor 350 , to my inexperienced ears , they sounded very pleasing. The mids and the highs were very rich and never felt anything missing, in comparison M70 bookshelfs felt constricted, M73i was better but i still felt i was loosing on clarity in comparion to def tech. M73i did score better(not too much)on their base but they better do
Def tech did not have too much of base but i didnt see to mind overall.
Well Sushi a business trip to USA does not seem very forthcoming untill unless US economy picks up, but i am trying if a friend in USA can help me get one.
I just checked there is a Mirage dealer in India, is there anything in their stock which is similar to axioms M22ti.

Thanks once again, its a wonderful forum and i have got wonderful insights. Thanks all

Do you have Paradigm dealers out there? Listen to the Studio Reference 20 if so. It is similar to the M22.
