So most of you don't know, but my QS8's have not had a godo string of luck lately. I've just moved into an apartment and decided I didn't want to ceiling mount my QS8's like they have been for the past 4 years.

So I ordered up some QS stands and was all happy. However during that weekend while helping my Dad with something else, the left QS8 got knocked flat on its face and needed some love. A week later the right QS8 got knocked over as I was rushing to the phone, side stepped to avoid the open toolbox and knocked over the OTHER QS8 *cry*.

Anyways, thanks to Brent at Axiom everything is almost back to normal, the grilles have been repaired, tweeter remounted, the left QS8 is back on its stand.

I just have one issue.

For those who know about the QS8 stand, the speaker is held in place at the back by suction, almost a little clamp if you will.

The screw goes through the stand plate and presses against a small square piece of metal that has rubber on the other side as to not scratch the speaker. The pressure creates a small clamp.

I have lost the two little metal squares for this stand *tear* and am wondering what I could use as a replacement?

I think there is a photo of those metal/rubber squares on the 'brackets' page. Did you ask Axiom if they could get a couple more or not? maybe you could make something from some gasket mat'l(rubberized) from Can Tire or one of those little felt pads for under chair legs maybe.
