Not audio related but my next hobby related purchase, hopefully next week, is going to be a new Horizon offset smoker . There are a few upgrades I want to make with this so as to have exactly what I want. I'll have to order it from the factory and have it shipped here. There is no dealers in this area that sells anything close to the quality of this smoker.

Oh, great more smoked meat pictures, to drive us all to the fridge looking for something to eat.

Please don't... I can open the fridge door, but there's nothing beyond that point other than staring at the food \:\)

Yeah, help support the economy, everyone.

I won't do anything for a while. Other financial priorities.

If I had the disposable income, I'd go for a projector (although I would need a suitable house first).

I like the idea of the dual, sealed subs from Emotiva. Or maybe build a stealth Rythmik sub to go along with my existing SVS.

Big, vintage amp with meters.

Mostly what I want, though, is an invitation to Wid's house for dinner.

Wid, how to you feel about Traeger?

Tom,

I have read good things about the Traeger but have no personal experience with one. The meat locker I go to carries them. They seem to be built alright but the steel they are made with seems a bit thin imo. They are also pretty expensive, this same one had around 450 square inches of cooking surface and was 1k.

Then there is the pellets, from most of what is said it isn't to awful cheap either.

They are said to make some good Q and in the end that's what really matters.

P.S. You are always welcome Tom
