Some of the names I recognize from seeing them on the shelf so many times, it's hard to remember if I've actually drank some of them.

1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 26, 28, 29, 31, 34, 39, 40, 41, and 45.

Still got lots o' drinking to do!

Our local offering is "Foothills Brewery" in Winston-Salem. I have had a few of theirs.

Hmm. Tom and I haven't posted about the beers we had the other night at Brouwer's. It just happened to be the 7th Annual Hard Liver Barleywine Festival.

I'll get back to y'all about what we had, but needless to say, it was tasty!

This summer I'll have to cross off all of those, when I have money.

You guys could donate to my post-collage beer fund then :-)

I thoroughly enjoyed an entire bottle (750ml) of St. Bernardus Abt 12 (Belgian dubbel style) beer this afternoon. Friday evening we walked to the local wine store in downtown Leesburg to take part in their first beer tasting. They just started carrying beer and were trying to draw beer connoisseurs in the door. Worked on me. \:\)

I took home the above beer, a bottle of Shneider-Weisse Aventinus (dobbelbock), and a Green Flash Imperial IPA. I shared the other two bottles with my wife.

I'm planning to hit the GABF again this year. http://www.beertown.org/events/gabf/

If you like beer, you have to be there.

Have any of you tried Stone's Arrogant Bastard? I've tried it twice, both times it has this sour/salty taste. Ick. I don't see how it survives.

Anyways, I had Brugge Tripel, Magic Hat #9, and Three Floyd's Robert the Bruce. I enjoyed all of them. #9 and Robert the Bruce where especially good.
