I think Anthem or Rotel would get my money if I had that much to spend.

I am hoping for the Outlaw 997(?) to come out sometime this year so Bryan(icehawk) can buy one and I can hear it ;\)

You might want to look at the new Cary's.

The 11a is the pre and the 11v is their video processor.

NAD Master Series

and the better option is The Mark Levinson No. 502 AV preamp. It is the replacement for the mighty No. 40. It represents a major leap forward in terms of technology and integration. No 502

Jay,
I just realized...
Your favorite audio devices are 'OP'brand.
Interesting side note 'OP' is many people's favorite beer as well.

As you have discovered, there is no beating 'OP' prices ! ! !

ps. 'op' is other people's! ;\)

Hey, while I can't afford them, I can at least live vicariously.

Hello Zimm, there are draw backs for the Mark Levinson at 35000 bucks. No HDMI v1.3 only v1.1, but i still would love that prepro just for the audio. but i need the 35,000 dollars for disney world next year with the kids...
Anthem is supposed to release the D2v2 with the upgrade from HDMI v1.1 to 1.3 but it's not available yet.

as for the nad it doesn't offer enough for 3000.00. just the fact that it only has 2 hdmi in and one out...makes it over priced and i heard it didn't have dolbyTrueHD nor DTS HD MA..so that one is out.

thanks anyway...
