would a vp 100 match better with m22 than a vp150?

You probably won't be able to tell much difference. Your decision should be based on your room size, seating arrangement, etc. The 100 and 150 are very similar sonically, but the 150 gives you a little more wider soundstage for larger rooms with wider seating arrangements.

Brandon, keep in mind that the best match for the M22 is another M22(or an M2 almost as well), also positioned vertically, of course.

true enough john , i was thinking as far as # of drivers and tweeters . The room isnt very large 16x12 but the listening area is 12 x 12 . All 3 front stage speakers will be placed on top of a entertainment unit that is 6 feet long . not optimal seeing how the tweeters wont be at the same level and the speakers rather close together but thats what i have to work with for the time being . later on i will be adding m60 as mains and using the m22 as rears

I have both the VP100 and VP150 and there really isn't much difference. The biggest difference I have found is the VP150 plays a touch lower and male voices sound a little better, but I was only able to discover this during A/B testing.

thats nice to hear jake . the 100 will also look nicer in my setup because the speakers will be close in size
