Hey, let me know how you like it. My impressions of it back when it was on the air weren't great, but who knows how much my tastes have shifted since then. I know people like it, so maybe I just didn't get it back then. I think I only saw 1 or 2 episodes, too.

I finished watching part 2, and now the wait for the next one is going to be loooong. Parts of it might be a little convoluted (just a little--ha), but I'm still impressed with how creative a lot of it is. The Homunculi are a bit different in this series than in the original anime. Some of the characters that weren't in the original anime are pretty entertaining, too. I can't wait to see more. It's so inconvenient when it's not already all out.

If you can’t wait, the Funimation channel on Youtube and Hulu have up to episode 64 (SUB). I’ll probably wait on watching more of it until all the DUBs are released.

I'll have to think about that. I've been enjoying experiencing them first on Blu-ray. Very pretty picture. The bad thing is the Japanese track is only in stereo.

Louie again. It's actually a really good-looking and good-sounding show. You don't expect a comedy show to have that much attention paid to those elements. It's one I would get on Blu-ray, so here's hoping it's released in that format.

I finished season 3 of Burn Notice last night. The conclusion was a bit underwhelming. The writers really seemed to run out of steam. There was still enough entertaining stuff throughout the season to have made it worthwhile. I'm not someone who only cares about the end.

I watched Machete last night. Bits and pieces were entertaining, but it never developed any momentum. In the end, it was too good at being just a bad movie.

Resident Evil Afterlife. A guilty pleasure-High body count, lots of explosions, cool "real D" effects, at least 3 times I jumped out of my seat scaring my 2 neighbors at the same time:)

Surprisingly, I don't think there will be any oscars handed out for it though.

The Other Guys. I went with my best friend/coworker. We both ended up laughing quite a lot. I figured I would be amused, but I really didn't have high expectations. I'm glad to be surprised. This along with Scott Pilgrim vs. The World made for a good summer for comedies. I'll be buying both.

I'm in the middle of watching Mary and Max. It's very pretty, nice and textured like Fantastic Mr. Fox, as you'd expect, but of course with less color. As far as the audio, it's mostly dialogue at a low level, but then suddenly there will be a loud sound effect. I like it. It really accentuates the power of my system when those moments come along.

I have it paused right now because I wanted to see if a friend was online, and she is, so the ending will have to wait.
