Hi,

We're really pleased with reviewer Clarke Robinson's comparison of the Axiom M2v2 with two other significantly more expensive mini-monitors at EnjoytheMusic.com

http://www.enjoythemusic.com:80/magazine...paradigm_v6.htm

Among the compliments bestowed on the M2v2, here's his conclusion:

"If its not already, the M2v2 should be considered a classic... Axiom has knocked this one clear out of the park. Considering that they deliver music as well as they do and are the cheapest speakers of the group ($296/pr), they get my highest recommendation." --Clarke Robinson, Enjoythemusic.com

and. . .

"What I realized . . .is that the M2s are the least colored speakers in the group. My notes from my listening sessions with the Axioms are suspiciously sparse: "nailed it", "impressively involving", "perfect?"' --Clarke Robinson, EnjoytheMusic.com

Hunh. Those are the only (passive) Axioms I haven't heard, of current production models. I still prefer the towers. ;\)

Cool looks like I made a good choice. I was debating on wheather to go with the Axioms or the Paradigms when I was upgrading glad I went with the Axioms. I recently went demoing new receivers and took my M2's with me to see if they would let me hook them up to a receiver to see how it sounded. Three of the guys that work at the AV store were very surprized how good they sounded, they have some good brands, paradigm, klipsch, magnapan and some others way too go Axiom congrats.

Hi gtp,

That's great to hear about the reactions to hearing the M2v2s by the guys at the AV store and thanks to you and all for your feedback on the review.

Alan

Congrats on the great review of the M2's. They were compared against speakers from very respectable companies which makes this review even sweeter. I have read many good things about the Mini Monitors from Paradigm. To know that the Axiom M2's are signficantly the cheapest priced speaker of the bunch and hold their own and received the reviewers highest recommendation, props to the crew at Axiom on a job well done.

That's an incredible review. Makes me happy to think about how much better the other speakers are in the line! ;\)

Either that, or I really need to get my ears on some M2s.

They'd sound better if you were further away.

It's great to see the M2's get some well deserved press and praise. Of Axiom's line, this model (to me anyway) seems to be left behind a bit in terms of recognition. But we know better. Congrats to Alan and company... keep doing what you do so well.
