Hi
I actually just placed an order for the M80's and let me say im very enthuastic about it. However, my concern is my receiver (pioneer elite vsx-27tx) output power. The output power is rated at 120W x5 for a 6-ohm load. The M80's are 4-ohm speakers (load). Will I encounter any problems or damage the speakers in a period of time?
Will this power rating be sufficient enough for the speakers?
Thank You

The power is enough as long as you don't blast the speaker. Read the manual that came with your Pioneer, or look it up with tech supp to see if it can power a 4 ohm speaker. If so, then there won't be any problems at all. Remember, the speaker doesn't always have an impedance of 4 ohms. It fluctuates all the time.
