Just finished the last half of the first season of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. Animie News Network’s review gets it about right. DVD 1-2 DVD Part 3 It’s an above average anime but I’m just not getting all the hype. Unfortunatly I didn’t realize that the first 6 disks were just season 1 so what I’m expecting to be the end was just a cliff hanger. Although it’s supposedly on Adult Swim, AFAIK the English DVDs for season 2 aren’t do out until next month. On a rent of buy scale I’d rate this one a rent. Overall it’s fine but just nothing here that I can see to elevate it to “classic” status.

State of Play was all right. There were good moments, but overall, I didn't really care.
I just got done watching Last Chance Harvey. The story itself was a bit bland. I love Emma Thompson, but she didn't really redeem the movie for me, either. I couldn't really connect with any of the characters.

I watched Reign Over Me . I thought it was excellent and found the character Sandler played quite intriguing. My only negatives is it kinda ended abruptly and Adam Sandler was rockin` what looked like Bose headphones throughout the entire movie .

I finally saw Dirty Work. I didn't know it had quite so much star power, and I'd forgotten that Bob Saget directed it. But yeah, I love Norm Macdonald's dirty, dirty acting.

I'll have to try getting that movie again. I had it for a long time from Netflix but never got around to watching it before sending it back.

It is not meant for everyone. I bet it can be a bit too much for some people from an emotional standpoint.
