Hi have a question for someone who knows whats inside the M22v2 speaker. You see it fell off my stand on carpet but it seems fine sound wise and no visible damage. Is there anything I should check to see that could have come unattached in the fall or is the speaker solid enough to take such punishment. The speaker wire caught on my wheelchair and I didnt notice and baboom it fell, lucky it is well carpeted.

If the cabinet and drivers are undamaged and it's still working and sounding fine, then I doubt anything is wrong internally. Consider yourself fortunate and worry not.

I toppled a QS8 off the stand pulling a measuring tape from it once. Besides some cosmetic damage to one grille it’s worked fine since. So I agree, if it sounds fine don’t worry about it.

If there is no cosmetic damage to the cabinet or no serious dents to the tweeter or driver and the speaker sounds fine you did not damage anything and I wouldn't worry about checking anything internally in the speaker.

But what if he knocked some oxygen into his Monster Cables......?

Some time ago, when moving houses, I dropped the M22 from the stand height. The cabinet tried to open a little in one of the edges.

When powered the speaker, the cabinet was vibrating and you could hear the rumbling noise at low frequencies and high volume, so I needed a fix.

As I was in another country, with no easy way to send back to Axiom for repair, I did braced the cabinet myself externally. Went to the local carpenter and found a not-so-ugly way to attach bolts and brace it very discretely, and problem solved.

Now I can run the speakers at their max performance and no noise from the cabinet. And to answer your question, its very unlikely that the inside components (xover, wiring, drivers) got any damage.

(those M22 are now in a room setup in my parents house, so not in sight for the public, so no one will ever see the fix!)
