I wonder if that's the same bird as this one? If I didn't see this with mine own eyes, I wouldn't ever believe it! \:o

Crows are amazing animals. Did you know they are experts at recognizing human faces? If you're ever mean to a crow, they'll remember your face and yell (caw) at you if they see you again. If they're with a crows of birds, they'll all yell at you.

They can also mimic human voices and like many animals have a good internal clock. When we were kids, my neighbor adopted a crow with a damaged wing and nursed him back to health. He could fly again, but only short distances, much like a chicken. Amazing mostly because he normally shot at birds with his BB Gun.

After a while it followed him to school ever day and learned to come back at three o clock every day just minutes before the final bell rang to go home. I can't remember all the words and phrases he had picked up but he if you said "Hi Buddy" he would return the greeting, unless you were Carter, the kid who adopted him, he got "Hi Carter". No one else got that, even if you tried to coax him by saying it.

The only other phrase I remember is that he was taught to say "Damn Cat" every time he saw one. In the end, a cat was his undoing but he was a friend in the neighborhood for a couple of years.

With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.
