Hi everyone.
I'm new to HT and have just ordered a Pioneer VSX-D812 receiver. I have read many great things about Axiom speakers and look foreward to building my HT around them in the future.
However, the pioneer manual says it can only be used with 8 - 16 ohm speakers. That seems to have ruled out the VP150 which most people seem to favour over the VP100. I have a medium sized room, will the VP100 suffice or are there other center speakers models/companies that are better than it.
Hoping to get a set of M22's in the future for the fronts.

Thanks spiffnme.
Based on a some of the posts I've read on the web, I'm considering going with either 3 M3's or 3 M22's for the front sounstage, iso buying a dedicated center channel speaker. Considering that I'll add an active sub later, which would be the better choice?
Would Axiom owners say that they're worth double what you've paid for them, because once I add in Shipping and Customs duties, thats what it amounts to.

I live in South Africa. Really, if I had free shipping buying Axioms would be a no-brainer. Time to save up some more I guess.

Thanks FordPrefect. Actually I live in tropical Durban and we dont have winters here really - its like an all year summer.
Just fyi the 2M22+VP100 combo which cost $620 has a shipping cost of $417. Now see the problem :-(
