I have been having problems with my VP150 which was purchased about 1 yr ago. The woofers have stopped working a number of times,(while the tweeters continue to produce sound), and then started back up again. I have checked the connections from the AVR to the speaker and suspect the issue is with the speaker itself.

Any ideas?

First of all the speakers have a 5 year warranty, if you purchased from Axiom, so they will back you. Have you removed the woofer drivers and inspected the wiring to make sure something isn't loose? This will be the first thing they will ask you to check if you call the 800 line, they man the phones until 11pm.

Welcome Terry

Contacting Axiom would be a good idea. There might be something wrong with the speaker like a loose connection. I suspect they will ask you to remove the woofers to check the connections, the woofers and maybe the crossover.

Like sirquack said if you purchased this speaker from Axiom, any replacement parts is covered under the warranty.

Cheers!

Called the support line, took the woofers off, found a lose cable, hooked it back up, everything seems to be working again.

Unequivocally.

Half of communication is listening. You can't listen with your mouth.
