I always tought the SqueezeBox Transporter was a tad on the expensive side of things at 2500$... Just received an email from Outlaw who are now reselling the Qsonix media server at... 4500$!
That's the price of an Anthem AVM-50v pre/pro!

Wow, I didn't even check the price. I just looked over the specs, and went, "meh". But at that price it's more of an "ugh".

I've got the Sonos System bundle, one non amplified unit, one amplified unit and the controller wich I paid $1100 CA about a year ago.. LOVE it. I have 4TB of online disk space via my NAS where I store all my music, the Sonos get's it all from there, and I play the music in my HT room and in my kitchen..

Best $1100 bucks I've spent in a while.

I'm with you Riker. I have almost the exact same setup as you. It is pricey but well worth it! What NAS are you using?

Hey Dan,

I've got 2 X D-Link DSN-323 with 2 X Seagate 1T drives in each configured in JBOD. So, that gives me a total of 4 TB available on my network.

Cheers
Stephane
