While the Pre/Pro is equally outlandish, scroll down to the Amp section. It's analogue meters really caught my eye but I guess I really don't need a 150w x 10 channel amp, each channel with a discreet Amp and DC power supply. I'm sure it all still all shares one AC power supply but I'm willing to bet that utility companies probably sponsored it's development. The 132 lb. Denon POA-A1-HDCI In any case, I still prefer the concept of Axioms A1400amp bettter. All power to any channel, as needed. But it sure is pretty!!!

It's even heavier on the wallet.
Half of communication is listening. You can't listen with your mouth.

Holy crap Mel, I've never looked at your system before... amazing! What are you a drug dealer or something? That's a crazy amount of money you have wrapped up in that! Next time I'm in Alberta I'm coming over to party at your house forsure!!! lol
And yes Murph I've drooled over that amp for years and years. Actually the whole reason I've never owned an amp up until now was because I always thought I needed THAT amp. It wasn't until I joined this site and dispelled a lot of myths that I let myself purchase something like the Emotiva. I never would have dreamed of buying something that cheap in the past, I thought you HAD to spend money in order to get good sound out of your equipment.
Too bad it took me so long to realize this isn't exactly the case. The XPA-3 sounds awesome. No offense to Mel, I'm sure that's one incredible sounding system for sure. But it's out of my league cash wise for the moment anyway.

Whoa, that is indeed a nice system Mel ... I saw the pictures back whenever you first received your Axioms but hadn't looked at them since, that's a beautiful system!

Thanks for the compliments guys but I think it's best to let sleeping dogs or horses lie. Micah, you can stop over if your in the area but I doubt you would notice anything different sound wise ;). Peter, your making my violin feel inadequate. Mel
