The 2310 has a more powerful amp than the 1910, better video procesor (I know you don't really care) and another HDMI input... Was worth the difference to me.

JohnK thanks for the sage advise. I went with the Onkyo and think that I could add a amp to the fronts if this is a problem later. I let you all know the outcome,stay tuned. PB

Some have mentions adding a second amp just for the front, I understand this can be done with this amp, any recommendation about that?

Paul, the recommendation is to do what you indicated in your previous post: you can consider a separate amplifier later if a problem develops. You're getting an excellent receiver in the 706, including plenty of power at 4 ohms for that part of the frequency range where the M80s are 4 ohms(for the majority of the range they're 8 ohms). It's got enough to do the job in the vast majority of home audio applications and you shouldn't spend any time(or money)at this point worrying that it might not do it for you.
