I just want to thank Garant Canada, for stepping up and making good snow removal equipment, under the Garant: "Nordic series" brand. (plus others) There may be a USA MFG. product somewhere.....but I haven't seen one. Not only are these products good, but it saves me from being forced to buy cheapo China junk. http://www.garant.comBetween, Axiom, Garant, and the "Trailer Park Boys"........I'm very pleased with our northern neighbor's exports!

You can come over and show me how well it works Larry.

That was something I never thought about. I can't remember ever seeing anything other than Garant snow shovels in stores. I could also just be ignoring the others as I have found garant products to be very good.

Yardworks has their own shovels too, no idea where they're made though.
People shouldn't assume that offshore merchandise is less expensive, either, sometimes checking the manufacturing label will surprise us.
WooHoo!! I just checked my Yardworks shovel...says Made in Toronto!
Uhhh...there isn't a Toronto in Asia by any chance, is there?

I doubt it - but there's probably at least one Springfield in Asia

There's a market for snow shovels in Canada? I thought everyone up there had a ski-doo and a snowblower.
