That’s why I’m keeping 8 and 9 on ice. When 10 comes out I’ll watch all 3 back-to-back the way I watched 2 to 7.

Thanks again for turning me onto the show. It really is wonderful. More people need to watch it.

Well, you don't have to wait for 10 to come out. I just finished watching volume 9, and it concludes the series.

Thanks for the update. I had read that there was a 10th dvd coming out but I know that there are only 37 episodes and netflix lists 33-37 being on disk 9. Now I know what’s on the top of my list for this weekend.

Cool that you liked it and I agree about more people watching it but unfortunately too many people think all anime is for kids and/or pervs. I’m just glad I picked up volume #1 (the only one the store had) when I was in Guam last year. Talk about a long wait to get back Stateside and order the rest from netflix only to find out that those fargin bastages still had more to release.

Ha ha, yeah, I can only imagine. I'm glad I didn't start watching until it was almost all out.

I thought I would give in and read the graphic novel box set that my sister and mother bought me for my birthday, but I decided I would wait to watch the anime in its entirety before starting the graphic novels. Now I can read those and see how differently the story is told. It looks like the second box set of the anime hits in April. After that comes out, I'll have to start loaning them out to friends.

Samurai 7. I'm only a few episodes in. It's paced a little slow, but then, Seven Samurai put me to sleep, too, even though I liked it. This is an animated retelling of Akira Kurosawa's classic, only expanded and sci-fied up a bit.

Body of Lies on Directv HD PPV, this is the first movie as opposed to TV we have watched since installing the 3808, I continue to notice better video images than the 663, I like the sound quite a bit better having run Audyssey auto EQ with only 3 positions so far (there are 3 seats on the couch). Center channel sounds clearer due to EQ, surround is more enveloping and seamless (interesting to me, Audyssey decreased the left surround which is higher and farther away yet mounted on the wall, the right surround is closer and lower yet suspended from the ceiling with a lot of space behind, it all seems rather obvious in retrospect yet would not have been my first thought, so far I am sold on the auto eq, it seems to forgive all of the installation errors and room variance problems, as if the the old school equation that less is more has been due to the inability of human ears to provide sufficient analysis rather than the power of eq itself to provide correction), I wax philosophical and digress, anyhow I am a happy camper so far with the 3808 and suspect I will be able to "live with" (i.e., completely rock with) this processor for more than the foreseeable future.

The director's cut of Jet Li's Fearless on Blu-ray. I was surprised by just how different it was. I mean, basically it's the same, with a few differences in emphasis, but there was a lot of different footage involved, and I would say it was superior to the US theatrical release. I still wouldn't rank it among my favorite movies, but it was nice to see a nicer version of it.

Followed with some episodes of Futurama.

Got through the majority of Man on Fire and so far I really like it. It also has some good LFE.

I finally got around to Changeling. Man, what a movie. I can see why a couple of you were saying such good things about it.
