I listened to alot of speakers before ordering Axioms and Klipsch was one I listened to alot. I should be getting my new Axioms anyday, I'll be glad to let you know as soon as I can. I was looking for this exact type of info myself, having a hard time finding comparisons for reference, so I know where your coming from. Standby for now...........

Well, my set of front speakers I used in my system were the Klipsch Synergy series -- Two SB2 speakers, and the SC .5 for the center. For movies, their sound was fine. But, whenever it came to music, they just sounded compressed. It's hard to put into words. Anyways, after holding on to those for a year, and hearing about Axiom, I decided to give them a try. I ordered the M22's, and I'm certainly glad I did. The best way I can put it, is that the sound opened up. Anyways, that's just my opinion. I was just rather unimpressed with the Klipsch speakers in my own environment.

roffels hit the spot-the klipsch speakers sound similiar in tone to the axioms, but the klipch's are not as dynamic. Their soundstage is not as good and they arent as lively.
Hands down the m22 is a better speaker.
