I would imagine all these replacement subs are costing Axiom quite a bit. I'm quite impressed at how on top of this they are.

I hope for everyones sake that this is finally sorted out.

My fingers are crossed. I do appreciate Axiom for using this less-than-ideal situation as a challenge to themselves to come through for their customers.

Just got a voicemail yesterday and they are shipping me a brand new ep800!

I am shocked at how far Axiom goes above and beyond, Andrew noticed on this thread that I was having popping sounds occasionally during "demanding" HT material and promised to send me a new amp, and now they spontaneously send me an entirely new sub!

You just gotta love the passion, commitment, and dedication.

It's funny though, I have this superstition, everything is so close to perfect I don't want to change anything and risk messing things up.

Guess I'm not a true tweaker :-)

It's funny you say that SK, because I am loving what I have right now. But, in fear of any potential future burn outs, I have no problem installing a new amp on sub #2, an accepting a totally new sub for sub #1! Tough part is carrying it downstairs, and carrying the old one up... They weigh a ton!

I agree with you Steve
I have no problems with replacing the amp for the sub and my system sounds perfectly fine. But, it is awesome that Axiom goes the extra mile to replace the subs we all have with new ones. \:\)
Mel
While your at it Steve, can you stop on by and help me move my old subs out?

Sure no problem!
Just stay put and I'll show up before you know it.

I wonder if Axiom is concerned about driver damage with some of the amp problems?

Onn, it's only 3000 km, and it's the largest open border in the world! Get over here!

Fred, so far I have not noticed any driver damage. They sound great.

It's not that open any more.
Last time I went to Seattle in Nov / 08 I had my car searched. \:o
Do you think if I left now that I would get there and back for work tomorrow morning? ;\)
