picked up killzone2 with a Best Buy gift card that I had.

This game is great... Amazing graphics, killer environments, great multiplayer... it pretty much has it all.

It is by far the best FPS I have played on the PS3 so far. It seems like a first person version of Gears of war (in regard to graphics, addiction, gameplay, ect.)

I highly suggest that anyone who likes FPS and owns a PS3 check out this game.

I just rented Kill Zone2 this weekend, I agree with David's review, and it sounds great.

I think the sound is ok, but it seems to be lacking the LFE department... have you noticed this Homedad?

In comparison to explosions on other games like COD4 it really seems lacking. The dialogue, surround effects, ect. are great though

When the wife's home we have to play any shooters at low volume, I'll crank it up and check tomorrow while the wifes working out.

I guess that might be a small part of it.. I have only played at medium volumes myself due to my fiance...

I cranked it up a bit just now, (as much as I could get away with) and played a couple of online matches. It sounded pretty good, but I had to bump up the sub a couple of db's beyond its normal value.

Overall the sound it good though.

Not playing it tonight, of course, but I'm glad to see this remake is happening: A Boy and His Blob - Nintendo Power

A Boy and His Blob? YES!

First thing I'm doing is tricking the blob into eating a ketchup jelly bean.

Oh, I started playing Tomb Raider: Underworld tonight. Not sure how much I'm digging it. Rented from GameFly it'll probably go back next week.

I've been playing Fallout3 on the xbox 360 again. I stopped playing it pretty much when Gears of War2 came out. Since I am posted up in a hotel with crappy internet (and no xboxlive due to the way it is configured) I decided to pull out Fallout3.

I left off somewhere near the middle of the main quest line, and was level 10. I am now level 14, but still have only done a little more of the main quest. On my way to perform parts of the quest I keep getting side-tracked by random raider camps and other places I stumble across. I guess that is the one advantage of having a world like the "Wasteland". After roaming through miles of debris, you absolutely HAVE to stop and inspect any structure you find that is still standing.
