When properly calibrated a sub will never be too much for a room, at least sonically speaking, any way, glad you are enjoying the 500.

too much?!?!?! i had my ep600 in a 10X10 room, and though it was Just right....... you can always get another ep500 down the road when you get use to 1 ep500
