I have some Ultimate Ear earbuds that I like. However, I use them when I work out at the gym and I think they take more abuse than they should as a result. The casing on the wire going to the right ear is starting to come off to the point where I can see the wires a bit, and I think the wire has been bent so much that it starts to effect quality. Occasionally I don't get sound out of the right ear, and I have to adjust the way the wire sits to get sounds again. Obviously not ideal. They also don't stay in my ear great with the motion involved in the elliptical/treadmill.
So, I am looking for headphones that won't have this issue. Something that will stay on well, sound good, not look bad, and work well for exercising, with of course, good sound quality.
Any suggestions. Somewhere in the $60 range would be good...obviously the cheaper the better though, as long as it meets the other requirements.

My recommendation would be the Koss KSC75.

Hi Zarak,
I would recommend the Koss KSC75 portable headphones and a Sansa Clip or Sansa Clip+ MP3 player. The Koss KSC75 you can probably find for around $20 and are regarded as one of the best bang for buck headphones regardless of price. Add a Sansa Clip+ MP3 player and the total cost will be around $60 or less(including the headphones). Again the Sansa Clip+ rivals MP3 players costing 3-5 times more . IMO this is the best portable setup for the money and not only that the fit/function between the headphones and MP3 player are perfect for using during exercise/activities.

My wife has the Senn's Peter linked to and they work very well. She uses them for jogging mostly and has never had any problems with them.
