Onkyo 12v trigger

For those with an Onkyo, I have the 707, how do you go about using the 12v trigger. If I read the instructions right I will have to enable zone two just to use the 12v trigger.

Is this right?

Yes. Onkyo's trigger (for receivers) are typically hard-coded to zone2. My 805 is rigged to be trigged that way (altough I don't use it anymore for that)

You could still use the trigger for the primary Zone; just tell your macro-remote to turn on Zone2 whenever you power-up.

If I can figure out how to add that command to the Harmony it would be nice. No luck yet.

I had to make the remote learn it.
Which Harmony are you using?

Is it able to learn new codes (it is not mentionned on the product description page on logitech.com)

I just remembered, I did not learn the code, it was already in the database under "12VTriggerA" which performed Zone 2 power ON as well.
