I just bought my first quantum processor, but until I get the Heisenberg compensation chip, everything's uncertain.

The radiation storms in Fallout 4 are a great showcase for subwoofers. The audio in general is fun, but you really feel those storms.

I remember the days of a windowed case to see all of the guts, and blue LED fans, cathode tubes for general case illumination, etc. Later I found that the blue lights, even if you can dim them or turn many of them off, are REALLY bright in a dark room (we had a ton of family over one year, and kids were trying to sleep in my office where the computer was) and the lights kept them awake, plus the blue light was distracting while trying to game in a dark room. I switched to minimum lighting and what I did have was red. Just better. No more windowed case either. All it does is show the dusty components as they age and no longer become something to brag about. It is a nice setup hardware wise though.

I never understood the appeal of windowed PCs full of leds. Now purple crushed velvet bell bottoms...

While you guys are playing your new fangled Fallout 4, I'm still slowly working my way through Dragon Age 2.

Always a good time to play Portal 2!

The worst thing about visiting my sister was not playing Fallout 4. I have catching up to do.

I finished playing Portal 2 2 days later. Now I am bereft and portal-less.

I haven't been logging as many hours as I should, but I have to say I haven't been regretting my Nintendo Switch purchase. A couple of weekends ago I had my best friend bring his kids and wife over to play ARMS, since they had a blast the previous time they'd played it, and apparently they'd been mentioning it.

Besides that, I also had the Nintendo Labo Variety Kit sitting around. I'd been saving that for when his kids were over. We assembled the fishing rod, and the little accompanying fishing game works pretty well! His younger son was really getting into it. Hats off to Nintendo on a really well-thought out, engaging product.
