For those interested, I'm going to re-wire; relocating the dozen or so romex runs that are in the way.
I seriously think the M60's off axis performance is so good, that the difference (between having mids are ear level vs. a couple feet above) was suprisingly minimal.
But in this hobby, it's all about details, tweeking what you can, and taking pride in have done the best you can within your budget.
So, the exta effort (though my wife thinks I'm nuts) will make me happier in the long run.
