Damn! I don't think my Astros are ever going to win this year. 0-8 start.

Lackey wins, Papelbon saves, and the Red Sox have evened it out at 4-4, beating the Twins in the second game at Target Field.

Big Papi is off to another slow start. I'd be tempted to put Mike Lowell in at DH.

Bears, beets, Battlestar Galactica.

It still pains me to see Lackey in a Bosox uniform.

Harumph.

You prefer them in majordomo uniforms?

Boston needs to spend less on buying players and build a real stadium, imho.

Agree. It is fugly.

It might not be the most obvious choice since there are so many nice ballparks and some arguably better but one of my favorites is Camden Yards in Baltimore.

Now if it was based on just food, well we can make a whole other thread debating that.

There's something to be said for nostalgia/tradition, and Fenway Park has it in spades. I give the owners credit for not switching over to one of those multipurpose stadiums back in the 1960s or to one of their successors, the current wave of "retro" ballparks. For my fellow history buffs, here's an interesting wikipedia article which correctly credits Camden Yards as the death knell of the multipurpose stadium.

Indeed! You guys can poop on the Redsox all you want, but please, leave the Park out of it.
Yeah, I know. You'd tear down the Flat Iron bldg. 'cause it's not all new and shiny. Parking lot/strip mall nation.

I've seen the Orioles play at Camden Yards. Nice park, bad neighborhood.
