Hi Mark,
I'm late for your birthday but I hope your days get better and better. With the last name of Murphy, I've been to a couple of real Irish style wakes and you know, they have the right idea. Nobody pretends that losing a friend isn't difficult but also they celebrate the joy that their life brought to everyone. So, when you are ready, raise a piece of that birthday cake and salute your friend and all that you hold dear of him.
