Washington isn't really close to what we experience, that is more like British Columbia weather. You are just missing actually having seasons.

Micah, we seem to be getting winter for 3 months(Dec - Feb) now and not as much snow as you seem to be remembering, followed by spring for 4 months, followed by summer for 2 months and then Fall which goes through much of the same weather patterns as Spring, which ranges through all the season typical weather from hot summer to cold winter.
